Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm in Grape Vine.

Gorgeous grape sheen, and it smells just like grape soda.

Disney Wonder

I first smelt this in the Disney Store a few weeks ago, a mix of marshmallow, lemon sugar and apple blossom, it is blissfully sweet.

I was lucky enough to receive this from Yaisa for my birthday. (thankyou!)

It is an alcohol free linen spray, but I use it on my clothes as a normal perfume, it's a less smoky/caramel scented Prada Candy in my opinion.

Next on the list is the tinker-bell roller ball scent...

21

A couple of days ago (16th) was my birthday, I'm 21!
I had a lovely day, and felt very spoilt and blessed indeed, and thought I would share with you a couple of my favourite gifts.

As it was my 21st, I wanted things I could treasure and keep for a long time to come.

My beautiful Michael Kors Large Gold Runway

'Diamonds are a girls best friend'

Now from Craig, a kindle, I can finally get back into reading as much as I once did.
I chose the Kindle Keyboard for the 3G.

Thankyou Craig.

I adore this little Hamsa hand/evil eye necklace from Orelia, I heard evil eye's are only protective if given to you by someone else, so hopefully this will ward off any evil!

Thank you Yaisa.

As you can see, I got some really beautiful gifts, which you might see more of soon, and feel very lucky.

I also received a huge supply of coconut and peanut butter m&m's which I have been thoroughly enjoying getting stuck into!

And just for giggles... My birthday cake moustache.

A Malted Espresso, Please.

Tomorrow is my birthday, and so last week I treated myself to a little pre-birthday gift.

I chose Malt (left) and Espresso (right)

I recently realised that most of my shadows are shimmery, and have been craving some matte shades, I chose Malt as it is a gorgeous beige which is very subtle and clean looking, which I have paired in this palette with Espresso, a deep brown shade, as I wanted one that I could use for my eyebrows as well as in my crease.

Here I used Malt and Espresso on my lids, and Espresso through my brows.

I love them both and have a little list of more matte shades I want to try.

Skincare Essentials

There are now only three products which I feel the need to use regularly for my skin.

I have combination skin, but as I've gotten older, it seems to be getting more and more sensitive. It flares up when I travel and shower in an area with different water, I'll get alot of redness and occasionally a blemish or spot, and so it has gotten to the point where I like to use only the simplest products on my skin.

After ceasing use of all my favourite skin scrubs and washes, to no avail, I knew it must be the water, when I showered I always held my face under the water, and I quickly began to realise that this must be what was causing my troubles, not long after this, I read a post on Garance Dore, in which she said that her skin consultant advised her to stop using tap water on her face.

For a couple of months now, I have been sure to avoid getting tap water on my face, and although this is inevitable, I avoid it as much as possible, and only use three products on a regular basis.

1. Avene Thermal Water, for sensitive skin, I absolutely adore this stuff, it feels sensational, I use it if my face feels a little lacklustre, or dry, or after make up, or to wake me up or... you get the idea...

2. Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion, under make up, sometimes even just because, it's a lovely thin consistency which sinks in easily and causes no irritation or blocked pores whatsoever.

3. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion, applied with a q-tip to any spots or blemishes I may get, I feel it really helps to hurry up the healing process and minimise redness.

I do still use my washes and scrubs occasionally, but once I run out of the ones I have currently, I'm not sure I'll repurchase! I also still use my Queen Helene Mint Julep masque once a week or so, and use make up remover as normal.

Happy Valentines' Day for tomorrow.

Vodka & Caviar

O.P.I Vodka & Caviar is a sublime bright candy apple red. Just the name conjures images of a deliciously indulgent dinner and dance, in an LBD, dripping in diamonds and gold, and perfectly manicured talons coated in this beauty.

It looks perfectly glossy and opaque in two coats, and wears extremely well... for a bright red anyway.

Chanel Chintz

Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick in 'Chintz'

Beautiful wearable peach for everyday, sheer, but buildable.

Amazing with a tan.

Wahanda

Wahanda is, essentially, the spa/salon oriented Groupon.

It offers spa days, treatments and more at some real bargain prices. The website is a pleasure to use and navigate, and I was very grateful to be offered a £50 voucher to spend at my local salon to review the Wahanda service.

I have yet to use the voucher, but it arrived so beautifully packaged I just had to share...

I will let you know just as soon as I use it, my birthday is coming up, so perhaps a pre-birthday treat is in store?...

Blush Crushes

These are my two favourite MAC blushes of all time, if not my all time favourites.

They are 'Well Dressed' (left) and 'Pinch of Peach' (right)

Of the two, Well Dressed is definitely my favourite, as it is softer, more gentle and sweet. It is a candy floss, cool toned pink, and although it seems like it is difficult to build up sometimes, as it is quite light, it actually gives a very natural flush.

I've had this particular one for around 2 years, and have barely made a dent, regardless of using it all the time.

Pinch of peach, in my opinion looks better in summer with a tan, it is a bright, but not too bright pinky-peach, which looks almost coral at times.

They are both matte shades, which I love in a blush, as highlighter provides enough shimmer, without overly glittery cheeks (yes, you NARS Orgasm, which I find is actually quite hard to build up and it just a glittery shimmery crumbly mess).

On another note, I have been blogging for 3 years today, and just want to say a brief thank you for all who read and follow, truly, thank you.

Deux de Mademoiselle

'Two Mademoiselle's'

Firstly, Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick in Mademoiselle, I simply love this lipstick, defined by make up artists as a shade which will suit everyone, I couldn't agree more. It's a perfect dusty rose pink/red with some peach undertones.

and Secondly, Essie Nail Varnish, also in Mademoiselle.

Gorgeously glossy, and oh-so-chic.
